Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway

Do you ever wake up in the morning with that burning sensation in your toned gut wondering how your latest marketing campaign is going to perform? Or do you lay there panicking about how you're going to pay the next months rent or find 10 more personal training clients?

That burn that you feel is fear and it's your bodies way of telling you how awesome you are and to get up, get juiced and start ROCKING!

Think about this:

What was your 'why'? Why did you want to become a personal trainer? What inspired you to cough up thousands of dollars and spend hours upon hours of your time studying to be in a position to help OTHER people achieve goals? That was a HUGE decision that you made and now that you are one, why stop taking chances?

Becoming a personal trainer in itself is a MASSIVE decision and one that I'm sure that you never took lightly. You may have even spent a few sleepless nights wondering if it's the right choice, where will you find the dough to pay for the course, will your family approve such a drastic redirect in your career etc. etc.

But clearly you did it and while things may not be going 100% as planned, THAT was probably the biggest decision you will ever have to make in your fitness career.

Now that you are qualified and wrist deep in the greatest industry on earth, why aren't you continuing to take chances and better yourself?

The fitness industry has become so transient because so many people seem to think that once you are a personal trainer, you holding a golden ticket to a rich and fulfilling lifestyle; little do they know that half of the kitchenhands and factory workers in town have a Cert IV in fitness...

That old saying that talks about you never knowing until you try must be the first ever quote about facing fears and meeting them head on and it is so true.

Recently, I launched a t-shirt brand called FKN Gym Wear. The decision to start a clothing brand was very easy, but actually following through and finding suppliers, building the online infrastructure and finding the cash to finance it was a completely different story...But I did it, because if I didn't I would never know what could be.

I'm not going to lie to you; investing time and money into any venture is a gamble. Whether it's quitting your job to go full time PT, hiring staff, buying new fitness equipment or running a huge promotion; but guess what; that's business and the thing that gets your heart pumping and makes you feel alive!

What plans do you have floating in the back of your mind or scribbled on a whiteboard or notepad? What's stopping you taking action?

Remind yourself constantly WHY you became a personal trainer in the first place and how being in this industry will give YOU the lifestyle that you dream of having.

Feel the fear and do it anyway; love the fear, embrace the fear, because fear is the energy and drive that motivates you to move forward, try new things and ultimately achieve your goals.
